Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Officer to manage, maintain, and support our organization’s IT systems and infrastructure.
• The successful candidate will ensure efficient operation of computer systems, networks, and provide technical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor computer systems, servers, and networks
• Provide comprehensive technical support for staff
• Troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network infrastructure
• Install, configure, and update IT equipment and applications
• Ensure data security, backups, and system integrity
• Monitor system performance and resolve issues promptly
• Assist with IT-related projects and system upgrades
• Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures
• Setting up of software and hardware for meetings
• Website design and Management
• Monitor and manage network connectivity, backup processes, and user accounts.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware components and software applications as
  needed.
• Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.
• Conduct regular data backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Manage IT Help Desk operations, handling service requests, resolving incidents, and
  escalating complex issues.
• ManageMicrosoft 365 and domain name
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, updates, and system
  optimizations.
• Support the implementation of software updates and enforce IT policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• 5 years and aboveexperience post NYSC
• Proven experience as an IT Officer or similar role
• Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
• Wesite design and management experience
• Familiarity with operating systems, office applications, and security practices.
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to be disciplined and professional while at work
