Job Description
- Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and highly competent Accountant with strong expertise in Nigerian taxation and statutory compliance to join our team in the Ajah/Sangotedo axis of Lagos.
- The ideal candidate must possess absolute working knowledge of tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and statutory remittance processes.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and reconciliations
- Manage tax computations, filings, and remittances (VAT, WHT, PAYE, CIT)
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory authorities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Handle tax audits, queries, and correspondence with regulatory bodies
- Process payroll and statutory deductions accurately
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
- Support internal and external audit processes
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2years proven accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and compliance procedures
- Experience handling FIRS and LIRS processes independently
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 Monthly.
