Job Title: Food Scientist / Food Technologist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Description

• You will be working at our production company: where we produce Manpower herbs and Juice responsible for developing, improving, testing, and ensuring the safety and quality of herbs/Juice products.
• The role involves applying scientific principles to food processing, preservation, packaging, and regulatory compliance, while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new Manpower herbs, natural juice products and improve existing formulations
• Conduct research on food ingredients, additives, and preservation methods
• Ensure food products meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
• Carry out laboratory tests on raw materials, in process products, and finished goods
• Monitor food processing methods to ensure consistency and efficiency
• Implement and maintain food safety systems such as HACCP and GMP
• Ensure compliance with local and international food regulations and standards
• Oversee shelf life testing and product stability studies
• Work closely with production teams to resolve quality or processing issues
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and reports
• Support product labeling, packaging, and nutritional information accuracy
• Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 3 - 4 years experience.
