Position Overview

  • We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Academic Writer to join our growing team in Kubwa, Abuja.
  • The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong research capabilities, excellent writing proficiency, and the ability to deliver structured, high-quality academic content within defined timelines.
  • This role requires intellectual rigor, analytical thinking, and a disciplined work ethic.
  • The successful candidate will support academic content development across various disciplines, ensuring accuracy, originality, and adherence to institutional standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth academic research across diverse subject areas.
  • Develop well-structured research materials including seminar papers, assignments, project work, and related academic documents.
  • Format documents in accordance with specified referencing styles (APA, MLA, Chicago, etc.).
  • Ensure all submissions are plagiarism-free and meet quality benchmarks.
  • Edit and proofread documents for clarity, coherence, grammar, and formatting accuracy.
  • Meet strict deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify project scope and expectations.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess an HND or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong academic writing and research skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word (mandatory).
  • Must own a functional laptop.
  • Ability to structure documents professionally (Table of Contents, citations, referencing, pagination, etc.).
  • Excellent command of written English.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Gender Preference: Female (Preferred)
  • Must reside in or around Kubwa, Abuja.
