Location: Isolo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Onsite, Shift-Based)

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Chef specializing in Indian cuisine to join our team.
• The ideal candidate must be skilled in preparing authentic Indian dishes, maintain high kitchen hygiene standards, and demonstrate professionalism.
• This role is open to qualified candidates of any nationality with proven experience in Indian cuisine. Proximity to Isolo is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of authentic Indian dishes with consistent taste and presentation
• Plan and organize daily cooking activities to meet operational needs
• Select and prepare fresh, high-quality ingredients
• Apply proper cooking techniques, recipes, and portion control
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment, and workstations
• Monitor inventory and report ingredient shortages
• Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations
• Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff
• Suggest menu improvements or additions when necessary

Requirements

• Proven hands-on experience preparing Indian cuisin
• Ability to cook a wide range of Indian dishes (e.g., biryani, curries, tandoori, naan)
• Strong knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and traditional cooking methods
• Good hygiene and professional appearance
• Ability to work flexible shifts
• Residence within or near Isolo is an added advantage.
