Job Title: Technical Assistant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

  • The Technical Assistant will serve as the primary intellectual and operational support to the Board Chairman. This is not just a secretarial role, but a strategic one.
  • You will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights, preparing high-stakes board documents, and providing high-level technical support during contract negotiations and strategic travels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Analysis: Conduct deep-dive data analysis to support quality management decision-making and corporate strategy.
  • Board & Contract Documentation: Prepare sophisticated reports, briefings, and presentations. You must be able to use infographics to simplify complex financial or legal data for board meetings and contract negotiations.
  • Executive Liaison: Act as a technical filter for the Chairman, ensuring all briefs and documents are vetted for accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Travel & Representation: Accompany the Board Chairman on local and international trips at short notice, providing technical support during high-level meetings.
  • Operational Support: Handle sensitive assignments with confidentiality and provide professional driving support when necessary during executive movements.

Required Qualifications & Attributes

  • Education: First Degree: Law (LL.B), Economics, or Finance
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience within the Banking sector or other reputable Financial Institutions.
  • Technical Skills: * Advanced Data Analysis skills.
  • Expertise in presentation tools (PowerPoint, Canva, or specialized Infographic software).
  • Strong legal/financial drafting skills.
  • Soft Skills: * Highly confident and personable with "Executive Presence."
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Age Preference: Ideally between 35 -40 years old.
  •  Must possess excellent driving skills and a valid driver’s license.
  • Must be highly flexible and available to travel at short notice.

  • Intellectual Agility: Ability to switch between legal, economic, and financial contexts seamlessly.
  • Discretion: Handling high-level board secrets with absolute integrity.
  • Visual Communication: Turning spreadsheets into compelling visual stories (Infographics).
