Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH), Okitipupa was established by the Ondo State Government in 2008. The University was initially named as Ondo State University of Science and Technology (OSUSTECH), Okitipupa. The Ondo State Government changed the name of the University to Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) in December, 2019. The University is a technology-based institution which aims at providing the needed manpower training in order to address the critical areas of industrial and technological development of Ondo State and Nigeria as a whole.

The Vision of the University is to be a leading internationally recognized institution raising a corpus of technologically competent individuals able to respond to the needs of their environment in a technologically driven economy. The rapidly growing University currently runs academic programmes in three Schools. These are School of Science, School of Engineering and Engineering Technology and School of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources. The University has a student population of almost 5,000 students and is committed to the enthronement of highest academic and moral standards.

Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Cyber Security)

Requirements

• The candidate must possess a good first degree, not below second-class lower division, in Computer Science, Mathematics, or an ICT-related discipline; a Master's and PhD degrees in Computer Science with specialisation in Cyber Security; and a minimum of six (6) years post-qualification experience in teaching and research.
• Candidates are expected to possess a strong record of scholarly publications in high-impact journals locally and internationally, demonstrate successful experience in obtaining research grants, exhibit the ability to initiate and lead innovative research initiatives, provide effective mentorship to junior academics, and have significant administrative experience.

Salary Grade
CONUASS 5.
