We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Rigging Foreman

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department/Division: Lifting & Hoisting
Reports To: Rigging Supervisor

Job Summary

• The Rigging Foreman leads the rigging crew during lifting operations, communicating signals to operators.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct riggers in attaching loads.
• Act as the primary Banksman/Signaller for the crane operator.
• Verify load balance before full lift.
• Ensure exclusion zones (barricades) are established.
• Inspect rigging tackle before daily use.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Safety of lifts executed.

Requirements

• Required Qualifications: Trade Test / NABTEB.
• Professional Certifications & Licenses:
• OPITO/LEEA Level 1 or 2.
• Banksman/Slinger Certificate.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum 6 years experience.
• Physical Requirements: Clear voice and distinct hand signaling capability.
• Technical Skills & Competencies: Standard hand signals and radio communication protocols.

Working Conditions: Outdoor site.
