Job Summary

• The Kitchen Assistant supports the kitchen team in preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations to deliver high-quality meals to guests.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist chefs in preparing ingredients (washing, peeling, chopping vegetables, marinating)
• Help with cooking and assembling dishes as directed by the chef
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces
• Ensure proper storage of food items according to health and safety standards
• Wash and organize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas
• Monitor inventory and notify the chef of low stock of supplies
• Follow all health, hygiene, and safety regulations

• Basic knowledge of food preparation and hygiene standards
• Physical stamina (standing for long periods, lifting, bending)
