We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Government and Civic Teacher

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Government Teacher is responsible for delivering quality education in line with the approved curriculum, maintaining discipline, and supporting the academic and moral development of students in public schools.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans according to the government-approved curriculum
• Teach assigned subjects effectively
• Assess and evaluate students’ performance regularly
• Maintain accurate records of attendance and results
• Prepare students for internal and external examinations (e.g., WAEC, NECO, BECE)
• Maintain classroom discipline and order
• Participate in staff meetings and school activities
• Support students’ academic and personal development
• Implement educational policies from the Ministry of Education

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education (B.Ed) or relevant subject area
• TRCN registration (where applicable)
• NYSC discharge or exemption certificate
• Good communication skills
• Strong classroom management skills
• Ability to work under government regulations and policies

Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 per month.
