We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Scaffolder

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type: Contract
Reports to: Scaffolding Foreman
Department/Division: Civil / Access

Job Summary

• Scaffolders erect and dismantle temporary metal scaffolding structures to provide access platforms for other workers.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload scaffolding materials and prepare the base.
• Fix uprights (standards), horizontals (ledgers), and diagonals (braces).
• Lay decking/planking and install toe-boards and guard rails.
• Dismantle scaffolding safely after use.
• Maintain safety harness tie-off at all times.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Speed and safety of erection.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / WAEC with 2-3 years experience.
• Trade Test I, II, III.

Professional Certifications & Licenses:

• Basic Scaffolding Training (CITB/CISRS Part 1 desirable).

Technical Skills & Competencies:

• Safe manual handling techniques.
• Teamwork.

Physical Requirements:

• Balance, agility, and strength.

Working Conditions:

• Heights, exposed to weather.
