We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Expeditor (Project-Based)

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Job type: Contract
Reports to: Procurement Manager / Head of Procurement
Department / Division: Procurement & Supply Chain

Job Summary

  • Manage all post-order procurement activities for imported materials, ensuring timely delivery, proper documentation, logistics coordination, and supplier follow-up in line with project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all post-order procurement activities for assigned projects
  • Track supplier and shipment schedules
  • Follow up on documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL, Certificates, etc.)
  • Coordinate with logistics for shipping and delivery
  • Liaise with Finance on payment milestones
  • Ensure compliance with PO terms and delivery timelines
  • Maintain expediting reports and delivery trackers
  • Flag risks or delays early to Procurement & Projects
  • Support vendor performance monitoring
  • Ensure proper document control for imports
  • Support customs clearance coordination where needed
  • Provide data and reporting on delivery status

  • On-time delivery rate

Required Qualifications

  • Candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related fields

Professional Certifications & Licenses:

  • PTW System Certification (specific to IOCs like Shell, Chevron, etc.).
  • NEBOSH IGC.

Experience Requirements:

  • 5+ years procurement experience
  • Strong post-order / expediting experience
  • Experience with imported materials
  • Knowledge of logistics & shipping documents
  • Strong coordination and follow-up skills
  • Data tracking & reporting capability
  • Good negotiation and vendor management skills
