Lagos Executive Cardiovascular Clinic is a multidisciplinary cardiovascular and cardiac rehabilitation 24/7 facility focused on the treatment and management of cardiovascular diseases and trigger diseases using both invasive and non-invasive procedures, as well as preventive cardiology.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Remote Bookkeeper

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Remote Bookkeeper (OND Qualified) to manage daily financial records, maintain accurate bookkeeping data, and support the finance department in ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal financial policies.
  • The ideal candidate must be highly organized, trustworthy, and experienced in basic accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record daily financial transactions and maintain up-to-date ledgers
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
  • Maintain petty cash records and expense tracking
  • Prepare basic financial reports (weekly and monthly summaries)
  • Support payroll documentation and statutory remittances (PAYE, Pension, etc.)
  • Maintain digital and physical filing of financial documents
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal financial policies
  • Assist in audit preparation and financial reviews
  • Communicate financial updates to management as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline with 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Good written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Competencies:

  • Experience in healthcare financial operations
  • Familiarity with Nigerian tax and pension remittance processes
  • Basic understanding of financial compliance standards

Working Conditions:

  • Fully remote role
  • Must have stable internet access and a functional laptop
  • Periodic meetings.
