Job Title: Science Laboratory Technician

Location: Warri, Delta

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Science Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations, assist in practical sessions, and ensure proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and materials.
  • The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare laboratory materials, reagents, and equipment for practical sessions.
  • Assist lecturers and instructors during laboratory demonstrations and experiments.
  • Maintain, clean, and store laboratory equipment properly.
  • Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
  • Monitor inventory of chemicals and consumables, and report shortages.
  • Keep accurate laboratory records and documentation.
  • Dispose of laboratory waste in accordance with safety regulations.

Requirements

  • ND / HND or Bachelor’s degree in Science Laboratory Technology or related science field.
  • 2–3 years relevant laboratory experience.
  • Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and safety practices.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
