Job Title: Geologist

Location: Endo Local Government Nasarawa,
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Geologist to join our mining operations at our mine site in Nasarawa State.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for geological mapping, exploration activities, and providing technical support to ensure efficient and sustainable mining operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct geological mapping, sampling, and logging
• Supervise exploration and drilling programs
• Analyze geological data and prepare technical reports
• Identify and evaluate mineral resources and reserves
• Work closely with mining and operations teams to support production
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
• Maintain accurate geological records and databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Geology or related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in mining or exploration
• Strong knowledge of mineral exploration and mine geology
• Ability to interpret geological data and maps
• Familiarity with Nigerian mining and environmental regulations
• Willingness to work on-site in Nasarawa State.

• Professional membership (e.g., NMGS or related bodies)
• Experience working at an active mine site.
