Job Title: Facility Officer

Location: Ilupeju, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Facility Officer is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the organization’s facilities.
  • The role ensures that buildings, equipment, and services are well maintained and compliant with health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain building infrastructure, utilities, and facilities equipment
  • Coordinate routine inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities
  • Supervise external vendors, contractors, and service providers
  • Ensure cleanliness, security, and safety of the facility at all times
  • Respond promptly to facility-related issues, breakdowns, or emergencies
  • Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and service contracts
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Assist in space management, office setup, and facility improvements
  • Support budget control by monitoring facility-related expenses
  • Report facility conditions and recommend improvements to management.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • OND / HND / B.Sc in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Technology, or a related field
  • 1 – 3 years of relevant experience in facility or building management
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general maintenance
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
