Job Description

• The Zone Operations Manager is responsible for the overall management and administration of Zone operations.
• The role provides leadership oversight, ensures regulatory compliance, supervises personnel, and serves as the primary operational representative of the Zone.

• Supervision of Zone personnel
• Regulatory and customs liaison
• Oversight of licensing and compliance functions
• Escalation management
• Strategic development and investor growth oversight
• Policy implementation and enforcement
• The Zone Operations Manager serves as the primary operational representative of the Zone

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, Management, or a related discipline (Master’s degree is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant professional experience, with demonstrated leadership exposure
• Compulsory prior experience working within a Free Trade Zone environment
• Strong knowledge of Free Trade Zone regulations, licensing frameworks, customs procedures, and compliance requirements
• Proven experience liaising with regulatory authorities, customs, and government agencies
• Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and manage cross-functional operations
• Strong understanding of policy implementation and operational governance
• Excellent strategic planning, stakeholder management, and escalation handling capabilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and decision-making ability
