Job Summary
- We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Rig Technician to support drilling operations and ensure the efficient performance of rig equipment.
- This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical systems while ensuring full compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support drilling operations by maintaining and repairing rig equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical and technical faults efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance
- Ensure compliance with HSE and operational safety standards
- Work closely with the Drilling Supervisor and rig crew to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in oil & gas drilling operations
- Experience working on offshore rigs
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or related field
- Valid certifications such as BOSIET (for offshore roles), IWCF or IADC
- Strong knowledge of drilling equipment and rig systems
- Ability to work in remote locations and rotational schedules
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
