Job Summary

• Our client is expanding and looking for a creative, strategic, and digitally savvy Communications Associate to amplify its work across Nigeria and beyond.
• This is not just another communications role.
• This is an opportunity to shape the narrative of renewable energy transformation across rural communities.

Responsibilities

• Create high-impact content (social, blog, press, newsletters, proposals)
• Develop human-centered stories from electrification projects
• Manage and grow social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• Track performance metrics and optimize campaigns
• Support media engagement and partnership communications
• Maintain an organized multimedia content repository
• Propose fresh, innovative storytelling strategies.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in communications, media, or digital marketing
• Strong writing and editing skills (this is non-negotiable)
• Experience using tools like WordPress, Canva, Buffer, Google Analytics
• A sharp eye for design consistency and messaging clarity
• The ability to work independently and proactively
• Bonus points if you’re passionate about renewable energy, climate change, or rural development.
