Job Title: Pharmacy Technician (Community Pharmacy)

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Summary

• Support the pharmacist in accurate preparation, labelling, and dispensing of prescriptions.
• Provide professional customer service and assist with OTC product inquiries.
• Maintain proper storage, handling, and organization of medications and health products.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock rotation, and track expiries to prevent losses.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, safety standards, and documentation requirements.
• Assist in processing sales transactions and maintaining prescription records.
• Keep the pharmacy workspace clean, orderly, and operationally efficient.
• Support health promotion activities, in-store wellness campaigns, and retail merchandising.
• Help minimize waiting time by ensuring smooth workflow and coordination.
• Participate in stock counts, audits, and branch operational support when required

Key Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies.
• Valid professional registration/licensure (where required by regulation).
• 1–3 years’ experiencein a retail pharmacy setting preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology, dosage forms, and dispensing practices.
• Basic understanding of inventory and retail operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work shifts, weekends, and across multiple branches if required.
