Job Title: Hydra Operator
Location: Obajana Plant, Kogi
Job Summary
- The Hydra Operator is responsible for operating the hydraulic mobile crane and any other lifting equipment to lift, move, load, and position materials safely within the worksite.
- The Hydra Operator ensures efficient material handling while strictly following safety guidelines, equipment standards, and site procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform daily safety inspections, check the hydra and other lifting equipment working conditions, and report any maintenance issues.
- Safely and efficiently ensure the hydra and other electrical lifting equipment operates in coordination with ground personnel.
- Maintain logs of lifting operations, incidents, and daily equipment checklists.
- Support material movement for production, maintenance, and other teams.
- Carry out all work in compliance to all Management Systems.
- Carry out all work in compliance to Plant safety regulations.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Manager, Workshop & utility.
Requirements
- Trade Test in equipment operation.
- Good practical and technical skills.
- Communication skills.
- Awareness of health, safety, and environmental practices.
