Job Title: Barista

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job type: Full-time (Onsite)

Job Summary

• The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee beverages while ensuring excellent customer service.
• The ideal candidate must have strong coffeemaking skills, attention to detail, and passion for delivering consistent quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee beverages including espresso, cappuccino, latte, and other specialty drinks.
• Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation of all beverages.
• Operate coffee machines and equipment properly and safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station and equipment.
• Recommend beverages to guests and provide excellent customer service.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee supplies and report shortages.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Assist in developing new beverage ideas where required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barista in a reputable hotel, café, or restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment handling.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain consistency.
• Knowledge of hygiene and food safety practices.
• Barista training certification is an added advantage.
