Job Title: Head Waiter

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job type: Full-time (Onsite)

Job Summary

• The Head Waiter will be responsible for supervising waiters, ensuring smooth dining service, and delivering exceptional guest experience.
• The role requires strong communication, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of food and beverage service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of waiters and service staff.
• Ensure guests are welcomed, seated, and served professionally.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure speed, accuracy, and guest satisfaction.
• Assist in handling customer complaints and resolving issues promptly.
• Ensure proper table setup, cleanliness, and presentation at all times.
• Train and mentor waiters on service etiquette and hotel standards.
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar for order accuracy and timing.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations within the restaurant.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Head Waiter or Senior Waiter in a reputable hotel or restaurant.
• Strong leadership and customer service skills.
• Good knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant hospitality certification is an added advantage.
