We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: English Language Teacher

Locations: Rupokwu, Artillery, Woji, GRA and Rumahoglu - Rivers
Reports To: Head of Department / School Principal

Job Summary

• The English Teacher is responsible for teaching grammar, literature, comprehension, writing skills, and oral English to improve students’ communication and literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver English language lessons.
• Teach grammar, comprehension, essay writing, and literature.
• Develop students' reading and speaking skills.
• Organize debates, spelling bees, and literary activities.
• Set and mark tests and examinations.
• Prepare students for WAEC, NECO, and other external exams.
• Monitor student performance and provide feedback.
• Maintain classroom discipline.
• Keep proper academic records.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.A / B.Ed in English or related field with 1 - 3 years teaching experience.
• TRCN Certification (added advantage).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Good classroom management skills.
