Job Title: Retail Sales Agent

Job Purpose

  • The Retail Sales Agent is responsible for driving revenue growth through the aggressive promotion and sale of the company’s lubricant products across assigned retail channels.
  • The role demands a results-oriented professional with strong execution capability, disciplined territory management, and a proven ability to grow market share, expand retail coverage, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Aggressively promote and sell the company’s range of lubricant products to retail outlets within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales volumes, revenue targets, and distribution objectives.
  • Develop, manage, and expand a strong retail customer base, ensuring maximum market penetration.
  • Identify and onboard new retail accounts to increase numeric distribution and brand presence.
  • Enforce company pricing, trade terms, and promotional strategies at the retail level.
  • Ensure optimal product availability, visibility, and shelf presence in all assigned outlets.
  • Execute sales promotions, trade activations, and product launches with precision and urgency.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing movements, and market dynamics; submit actionable market intelligence reports.
  • Ensure timely order generation, delivery coordination, and collection of outstanding payments where applicable.
  • Resolve customer issues promptly while protecting company margins and brand reputation.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Operate strictly in compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and sales procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school certificate; diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within lubricants, automotive products, FMCG, or industrial consumables.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to close sales and grow accounts.
  • Sound understanding of route-to-market and retail execution principles.
