Job Description
- As a Hotel Receptionist you are the primary point of contact,responsible for delivering excellent guest experiences through warm welcomes, efficient check-ins/check-outs, and managing reservations via phone or email.
- They handle payments, resolve guest complaints, provide local information, and coordinate with housekeeping to ensure room availability
Key Responsibilities
- Guest Services: Greeting, registering, and assigning rooms to guests; providing information on amenities.
- Reservations & Billing: Managing bookings, cancellations, and processing payments (cash/credit cards).
- Communication: Answering, screening, and forwarding phone calls; responding to emails.
- Administration: Maintaining the front desk area, filing documents, and keeping accurate records.
- Issue Resolution: Handling guest complaints and special requests efficiently.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Candidates should possess a B.Sc, Diploma or equivalent qualification with 2-5 years experience.
- Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is highly preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Technical: Proficiency with computers and hotel management software (PMS).
- Soft Skills: Customer-oriented, multitasking abilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
