Job Title: Finance Officer

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced finance officer to assist in managing the company's finances, also to record and analyze financial data.

Job Responsibilities

• Record financial data, analyze this data, and prepare regular reports
• Regular bookkeeping to ensure accounting is accurate and up-to-date
• Work with the management team in approving company expenses
• Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Ensure each operational facility has accurate financial data
• Lead the company's relationship with banks and other financial houses
• Analyze financial data using Quickbooks and other accounting software
• Relate with external auditors and tax consultants

Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics, or a similar financial field
• Must be chartered with proven qualifications
• Proven work experience in accounting or finance
• Advanced use of accounting software like Quickbooks
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Should reside in Lagos
• Should be willing to work 23 days a month
• Should be able to work on some weekends and public holidays
• Should be agile, smart, and deeply analytical
