Job Title: Site Engineer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are executed according to drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
• The role requires hands-on coordination with contractors, artisans, and suppliers while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project plans.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate artisans, contractors, and site labour to meet daily work targets.
• Monitor project progress and report delays, risks, or deviations to management.
• Ensure materials are used efficiently and minimize wastage on site.
• Enforce site safety rules and ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Maintain daily site records, site diaries, and progress reports.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

Job – Specific Responsibilities

• Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for site execution.
• Conduct setting-out, leveling, and measurements on site.
• Inspect completed works to ensure quality standards are met before approvals.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and regulatory bodies when required.
• Support handover and snag-list resolution during project completion.

Requirements

• HND /B.Sc in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, or related field.
• 2–4 years hands-on site experience in building or real estate construction.
• Ability to read and execute architectural and structural drawings.
• Basic knowledge of concrete works, reinforcement, and site safety (HSE).
• Strong site supervision, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work full-time on-site in Lekki.

Salary
N300,000 monthly.
