- We are currently recruiting a competent and reliable Pharmacy Technician to support our pharmacy operations.
- The Pharmacy Technician will assist the Pharmacist in dispensing medications, managing inventory, preparing prescriptions, and ensuring efficient daily operations of the pharmacy unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing and dispensing medications under the supervision of a Pharmacist
- Accurately label, package, and organize prescribed medications
- Receive, store, and manage pharmaceutical stock properly
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or expired medications
- Maintain accurate records of medications and pharmacy activities
- Assist in processing prescriptions and patient medication requests
- Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the pharmacy
- Follow all pharmacy regulations, safety, and hospital protocols
- Provide support in administrative and operational pharmacy tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:
- Diploma or Certificate in Pharmacy Technician program or related field
- Valid practicing license (where applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs and pharmacy procedures
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a hospital pharmacy
- Good inventory management skills
- Professional and responsible work attitude.
