Erkang Ilorin Company Limited is a fast growing multinational start up Pharmaceutical Company based in Ilorin Kwara state, into manufacturing of infusions.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Technical Director

Location: Ilorin, Kwara
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Technical Leadership: Define and implement technical strategies, R&D projects, and product lifecycles from conception to market.
• Regulatory Compliance & Quality: Ensure all products meet strict regulatory standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality protocols.
• Manufacturing & Engineering Oversight: Supervise production processes, engineering, and quality control systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Scientific Expertise & Innovation: Keep abreast of new pharmaceutical technologies, drug delivery methods, and industry research to drive innovation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with R&D, Clinical, Supply Chain, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Regulatory Liaison: Act as a technical expert during regulatory audits and interact with government agencies.
• Talent Management: Recruit, mentor, and develop technical staff, including engineers and scientists.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or related life science.
• Experience: 8+ years of progressive experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, research, or regulatory affairs.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance, supply chain strengthening, and international GMP standards.
• Leadership: Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Key Competencies:

• Compliance-Oriented: Thorough understanding of FDA, EMEA, or local regulatory requirements.
• Analytical & Technical: Ability to troubleshoot complex production, formulation, or engineering problems.
