Job Title: Experienced Credit Officer
Location: Lagos
Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Experienced Credit Officers to join our team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting and marketing our loan products, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring timely loan disbursement and repayment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and recruit new loan customers
- Promote the Bank's loan products
- Conduct field visits, market storms and community engagement
- Meet assigned monthly loan disbursement target
- Evaluate and process loan applications
- Conduct thorough interviews with loan applicants to assess financial position repayment capacity and risk exposure
- Monitor and manage loan portfolio to ensure timely repayments
- Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
Requirements
- Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Banking Finance, Business Admin, Economics or any related field.
- 5-7 years experience in Microfinance or Commercial bank
- Strong marketing and negotiation skills
- Ability to work in the field and meet targets
- Strong integrity and ethical standard.
