Job Description
- We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Paediatric Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering age-appropriate, family-centered care while ensuring the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence.
- The role requires strong clinical judgment, empathy, and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team to promote optimal health outcomes for paediatric patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents.
- Monitor, assess, and document patients’ conditions and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the paediatrician.
- Assist during examinations, procedures, and emergencies.
- Educate parents/guardians on treatment plans, preventive care, and child development.
- Maintain strict infection prevention and control standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid practicing license.
- Certification in Paediatric Nursing is mandatory.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a paediatric unit.
- Strong clinical and emergency response skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and child-friendly demeanor.
