Job Title: Cashier

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos

Description

  • We are seeking a trustworthy, detail-oriented, and customer-friendly Cashier to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process payments (cash, POS, transfers, cheques).
  • Issue official receipts for all transactions.
  • Maintain accurate daily financial records and transaction logs.
  • Balance cash drawer and reconcile accounts at the end of each shift.
  • Prepare and submit daily financial reports to the Finance Manager.
  • Handle billing inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Ensure proper documentation of all financial transactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial and patient information.
  • Assist in insurance and HMO payment processing when required.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital financial policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of OND / HND / BSc Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields
  • 1–3 years experience as a cashier (hospital experience is an advantage).
  • Strong numerical and accounting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of integrity.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions efficiently.
