We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Facility and Store Assistant

Contract: 2-year renewable contract
Responsibilties
- Receive fuel and other store items for the station.
- Ensure all fuel receipts are measured using a flow meter and conducted to verify correct quantity and quality.
- Issue other store items and fuel to IITA vehicles and generators strictly based on approved fuel slips.
- Issue only upon presentation of a duly approved SRV.
- Maintain accurate and up to date records for all stored items.
- Provide monthly usage reports to support charge back processes.
- Raise timely requests for replenishment of store items to prevent complete stock depletion.
- Assist with asset listing activities.
- Support proper maintenance and updating of asset records.
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- BSC/HND in Business Administration, Purchasing & Supply, Accounting or any other related course of study.
- The ideal candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:
- Be able to maintain record‑keeping and documentation to ensure accurate stock levels and rigorous inventory control.
- Inspect incoming deliveries for damages or discrepancies and report findings accurately.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to support peak operational efficiency within the facility.
- Have knowledge of Store management.
- Facilitate accurate and timely check‑in and check‑out of materials to ensure seamless inventory flow.
- Oversee and coordinate daily warehousing activities to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be computer literate and able to use relevant applications effectively.
