Job Title: Business Development Officer

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, increasing patient volume, establishing partnerships, expanding corporate client relationships, and driving overall revenue growth.
  • The ideal candidate must possess strong sales, marketing, and strategic planning skills, with experience in healthcare business development being a major advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans to drive revenue growth
  • Identify and secure partnerships with organizations, HMOs, companies, and institutions
  • Increase patient inflow through corporate engagement and outreach programs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and partners
  • Promote hospital services to organizations, communities, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies
  • Collaborate with marketing and management teams to execute growth campaigns
  • Monitor business performance and provide regular reports to management
  • Develop proposals, presentations, and partnership agreements
  • Represent the hospital at business meetings, events, and networking opportunities

Requirements and Qualifications
Mandatory Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years experience in Business Development, Sales, or Marketing
  • Strong track record of achieving revenue and growth targets
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and meet targets

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in hospital or healthcare business development
  • Existing network with HMOs, corporate organizations, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field is an advantage
