We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Liaison Officer

Location: Jigawa

Description

  • We areseeking a highly organized, proactive, and well-connected Liaison Officer to serve as our primary point of contact in Jigawa State. You will be the "face and voice" of our organization, bridge-building between the company, government agencies, local communities, and traditional institutions.
  • The ideal candidate is a master of diplomacy who understands the socio-political landscape of Jigawa and can navigate complex regulatory environments with ease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain robust relationships with state government ministries, departments, and agencies (MDAs).
  • Regulatory Compliance: Facilitate the processing of permits, licenses, and official documentation required for J.A.K Group operations.
  • Community Relations: Act as a mediator between the company and local host communities to ensure peaceful co-existence and operational harmony.
  • Strategic Advisory: Provide regular briefings to management on local policy changes, political climate, and economic trends in Jigawa.
  • Event & Logistics Support: Coordinate high-level visits, meetings, and corporate events within the state.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, International Relations, Law, Communications, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 – 5 years in a liaison, public relations, or government relations role (preferably within Jigawa).
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Hausa Preferably an indigene of Jigawa
  • Local Knowledge: Deep understanding of the traditional and administrative structures within Jigawa State.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, conflict resolution, and "people" skills.
