Job Title: Branch Finance Controller

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary 

• We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Branch Finance Controller to serve as the financial bridge between Head Office and branch operations.
• The successful candidate will oversee sales reconciliation, stock reporting, cash management, and accounting compliance, ensuring financial accuracy and operational transparency across branches.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance liaison between the Head Office and the assigned branches
• Monitor and reconcile daily sales reports and revenue records
• Oversee stock reporting and ensure alignment between physical inventory and financial records
• Supervise cash management processes, including lodgements and controls
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal control procedures
• Review branch expenses and support cost control initiatives
• Prepare periodic financial and performance reports
• Identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures promptly.

Requirements

• 5–8 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or retail finance operations
• Strong understanding of sales reconciliation, inventory accounting, and cash controls
• Experience working with multi-branch retail structures is an advantage
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
