Job Title: AI Instructor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary

• We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Artificial Intelligence (AI) Instructor to deliver high-quality training in AI and related technologies at our IT Training Centre.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching both foundational and advanced AI concepts, guiding students through hands-on projects, and preparing learners for industry certifications and real-world applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and practical training sessions in AI and related fields.

Teach core topics such as:

• AI Fundamentals
• Machine Learning
• Deep Learning
• Natural Language Processing (NLP)
• Computer Vision
• Prompt Engineering
• Generative AI tools.

Provide hands-on instruction using tools such as:

• Python
• TensorFlow / PyTorch
• Scikit-learn
• Jupyter Notebook
• GitHub
• Develop lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
• Conduct student evaluations, quizzes, and capstone project reviews.
• Offer mentorship and career guidance to students.
• Stay updated with emerging AI trends and integrate them into training.
• Support students in preparing for relevant AI certifications.
• Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
• Participate in curriculum review and improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 2–3 years of practical experience in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and AI tools.
• Previous teaching, training, or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse learners.
