Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Product Sales Engineer (Filtration)

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Product Sales Engineer – Filtration will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting filtration products to existing and prospective clients.
  • The role involves providing technical and commercial support, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored engineering solutions that enhance customer operations and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for filtration products across target markets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while understanding customer technical requirements.
  • Conduct site visits, technical surveys, and product presentations to support solution-based selling.
  • Collaborate with service centers, OEMs, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions and timely project execution.
  • Identify new sales opportunities and support installations, upgrades, and optimization projects.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals, bids, and recommendations.
  • Provide post-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and customer training.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging filtration technologies.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking platforms.
  • Travel to client sites (onshore and offshore) as required – up to 60%.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
  • 3 - 5 years’ relevant experience in filtration or industrial equipment sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and internet tools.

  • Technical knowledge of filtration systems and industrial processes
  • Business development and key account management
  • Bid preparation and sales forecasting
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
  • Understanding of oil & gas processes and separation technologies.

Salary
N800,000 – N1,000,000 / month.
