Job Title: Audit Manager

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan based on risk assessment across manufacturing, supply chain, sales, distribution, and finance functions.
• Lead and manage end-to-end internal audits (financial, operational, compliance, and inventory audits).
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements.
• Conduct plant audits covering production processes, wastage control, yield analysis, and cost controls.
• Review inventory management processes including raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Monitor distributor audits, trade schemes, sales returns, and credit controls.
• Assess compliance with company policies, SOPs, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Identify business risks and provide practical recommendations to mitigate them.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to senior management.
• Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely closure of action points.
• Lead fraud investigations and special audits when required.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Develop and mentor audit team members.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in internal controls and governance.
• Support ERP/system implementation reviews and data analytics-based audits.
