Job Title: Head, Risk and Compliance

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, legal, and strategic risks.
• Regularly evaluate the risk environment and recommend strategies to minimize risks across the organization.
• Lead risk assessments and facilitate workshops to educate senior management and employees on risk-related issues.
• Monitor risk mitigation initiatives and ensure their effectiveness in reducing exposure.
• Oversee the organization’s compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations, and ensure the company adapts to any new compliance requirements.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external laws, regulations, and internal company guidelines.
• Work closely with legal and regulatory bodies to ensure the company’s adherence to industry-specific rules and standards.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with 5-10 years experience.
