Job Title: Machine Operator – Blow Fill (Beverage Manufacturing)

Job Summary

• The Blow Fill Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining blow molding equipment used to produce plastic beverage bottles.
• This position ensures safe, efficient production of high-quality bottles that meet company, customer, and food safety standards in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate blow molding (blow fill) machines to produce PET or HDPE beverage bottles according to production schedules.
• Perform machine start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures.
• Monitor preform feeding systems, heating ovens, and air pressure systems.
• Conduct routine quality checks, including bottle weight, dimensions, wall thickness, visual defects, and leak testing.
• Adjust machine settings to maintain proper bottle formation and minimize scrap.
• Monitor cycle times, efficiency rates, and production output to meet daily targets.
• Identify and troubleshoot minor mechanical, pneumatic, or process issues; escalate major problems to maintenance.
• Complete production reports, downtime logs, and quality documentation accurately.
• Follow all food safety, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and company safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment in accordance with beverage manufacturing regulations.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and mold changes as required.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 – 3 years of blow molding or manufacturing experience preferred (beverage industry experience a plus).
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to read production schedules, SOPs, and quality specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
