Casa 45 is an Afro luxury lounge and Restaurant situated at 35, Adeola Odeku Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Manager

Location: VI, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Maintaining accurate, up-to-date ledgers, journals, and electronic records of daily transactions like expenses, revenue, and bank deposits.
• Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow) for management to review, and identifying trends or discrepancies.
• Tax Compliance and Filing: Calculating, preparing, and filing tax returns (VAT, income tax, etc.) in accordance with local laws.
• Auditing and Reconciliation: Performing internal audits to ensure accuracy, and reconciling bank statements with company records.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assisting in budget creation, monitoring expenses against budget, and using historical data to project future financial performance.
• Payroll Management: Calculating salaries, tax withholdings, and deductions.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with years of work experience.

Key Skills and Tools:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
• Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS) and tax regulations.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong attention to detail to analyze data, identify discrepancies, and suggest cost-saving measures.
