Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary

  • The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, general ledger management, tax compliance, and financial controls.
  • The role ensures accuracy of financial records, regulatory compliance, and timely preparation of financial statements to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage general ledger, reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
  • Ensure tax compliance and statutory remittances.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Monitor internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Assist in audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent – preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
