We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Security Officer (CSO)

Location: Ogbaku, Mbaitoli, Imo

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and disciplined Chief Security Officer (CSO) to lead and manage the organization’s security operations.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety of company assets, personnel, facilities, and operations by implementing effective security policies, procedures, and controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee security policies, protocols, and procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate security personnel across all company locations
  • Monitor and prevent theft, fraud, vandalism, and other security breaches
  • Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits
  • Investigate security incidents and provide detailed reports with recommendations
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory security standards
  • Coordinate emergency response activities when necessary
  • Liaise with law enforcement and external security agencies when required
  • Provide regular security reports to management

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND / BSc in Criminology, Security Studies, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of 4years proven experience in security operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Strong leadership and personnel management skills
  • High level of integrity, discipline, and professionalism
  • Good report writing and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Military, paramilitary, or law enforcement background is an added advantage
  • Relevant security certifications will be an added advantage
