Description

• Our client, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer to lead our financial operations.
• The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic leader responsible for overseeing the company's financial health, driving innovation, and providing strategic financial guidance to the Managing Director/CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Strategy & Advisory: Act as the principal financial advisor to the MD/CEO, providing insights for strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
• Banking & Treasury: Interface with banks and clients to manage company funds, optimize cash flow, and ensure timely processing of payments.
• Innovation & Systems: Leverage the latest financial software and technologies to streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions, clients, and external auditors.
• Compensation Design: Develop and implement a competitive, equitable, and sustainable salary structure for the organization.
• · Operational Leadership: Oversee all financial functions, including budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and compliance.

Requirements

• Education: First Degree in Accounting or related discipline.
• Professional Certification: Must possess a professional accounting certification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA.
• Experience: Minimum of 15 years working in large, structured organizations.
• Sector Knowledge (Advantageous): Previous experience in the Oil & Gas, Marine, Transport, or Leasing sectors will be a distinct advantage.
• Technical Skills: Must be proficient in the use of modern, industry-leading financial software and emerging financial technologies.
• Mindset: Innovative, pragmatic, and capable of handling complex financial negotiations.

Salary
N1,000,000 per month.
