Job Title:  Film & Television Production Manager

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun.
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Film & Television Production Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of film and television production within our organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong production leadership, operational coordination, and budget management skills.
  • The successful candidate will supervise production teams, manage timelines and budgets, ensure quality control, and drive the successful delivery of film, television, and digital media projects from concept to final distribution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all stages of production: pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Develop and oversee production schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Supervise directors, cinematographers, editors, and technical crew.
  • Ensure productions meet technical, creative, and broadcast standards.
  • Coordinate studio operations, field shoots, and post-production workflows.
  • Oversee equipment management, maintenance, and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Review scripts and production proposals to assess feasibility and budgeting.
  • Monitor production quality and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Manage vendor relationships and external production partnerships.
  • Prepare periodic production and financial reports for management.
  • Support content development for television programs, documentaries, and digital platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production, Mass Communication, Theatre Arts, Media Studies, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in film or television production.
  • Proven experience managing production teams and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of broadcast standards and digital media workflows.

Technical Competencies:

  • Proficiency in production management tools and scheduling software.
  • Strong working knowledge of editing platforms such as:
    • Adobe Premiere Pro
    • Final Cut Pro
    • DaVinci Resolve
    • Avid Media Composer
  • Familiarity with multi-camera studio setups and field production equipment.
  • Understanding of lighting, sound design, and post-production processes.

Preferred:

  • Experience producing talk shows, documentaries, or television programs.
  • Strong budgeting and financial oversight skills.
  • Experience in grant-funded or NGO media projects (if applicable).
  • Membership in professional film/media associations.
