Phillips Consulting - Our client, a leading manufacturing, marketing and installation company with a focus on roofing and flooring materials is seeking to recruit astute and qualified candidates to fill the following positions:

Job Title: Human Resources Manager

Job Responsibilities
  • Interact with HR and business colleagues within and outside the business to ensure alignment of HR activity in the spirit of one organisation
  • Provide input into the talent strategy for the business through developing insight and analysis of people related business issues and opportunities (by activating global solutions, eg. talent management tools/processes and diversity metrics, etc)
  • Collect HR organisation effectiveness metrics and measurement for the business across the entire HR life cycle
  • Track delivery against the case for change using analytical and data-driven approaches to business and organisational analysis
  • Implement and coordinate change initiatives to support enhanced organizational effectiveness within the business
  • Develop and implement the staffing plan for the organisation
  • Develop and implement the HR budget
  • Interface with HR service providers for delivery of core HR services to the business, monitor quality and timeliness of service provision
  • Encourage groups and individuals to work collaboratively by focusing on the common purpose of the organisation
Qualifications and Experience
  • A first degree in social or behavioral sciences (educational psychology, industrial psychology, sociology, organisation development)
  • Minimum of 8-1 2years post qualification experience on a similar role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Industrial Relations with experience in a highly unionized manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrable experience across the key processes in the HR value chain which include but not limited to Recruitment, Performance Management, Exit Management, HR Metrics, HR Analytics, Succession Planning etc.
  • Good project management skills
  • Good organisation and planning skills
