Job Title: Sustainability Analyst

Job Objectives

• The Sustainability Analyst will support Promasidor's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) agenda by gathering and analysing ESG data, assisting with sustainability reporting, and contributing to climate-risk assessments.
• The role works closely with stakeholders to support the delivery of annual sustainability targets and promote a culture of sustainability across the organisation.

Key Responsibilites

• Collaborate with departments across the organisation to collect and track accurate ESG data.
• Apply statistical and analytical skills to interpret ESG information and identify opportunities for sustainability improvement.
• Support the line manager in achieving annual sustainability targets and initiatives.
• Assist in sustainability and climate-risk assessments.
• Contribute to the preparation of sustainability and ESG reports.
• Communicate sustainability issues and insights to the line manager and relevant teams, proposing appropriate responses and solutions.
• Help promote and embed a culture of sustainability across all departments in the organisation.

Requirements
Experience:

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND
• Minimum 2 years experience in sustainability practice
• Globally recognised certification in sustainability and climate change is an advantage

Knowledge & Skills:

• Good understanding of sustainability
• Understanding of green house gas accounting
• Ability to work with and analyse large dataset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to manage several tasks
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
