About the Role

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Officer with a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering to join our dynamic team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities related to mechanical components, industrial equipment, technical services, and engineering-related materials.
  • This role requires excellent analytical skills, negotiation abilities, and a solid understanding of mechanical systems and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for mechanical equipment, components, and technical services.
  • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and bill of materials to ensure accurate procurement.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure best value.
  • Manage the procurement cycle from requisition to purchase order and delivery follow-up.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to support long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor market trends, material availability, and cost fluctuations.
  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, and finance teams for seamless procurement planning.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regarding quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and industry standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (required).
  • 2–5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or technical purchasing.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical components, industrial equipment, and engineering documentation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency with procurement/ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast‑paced environment.
